Wallingford Food Festival
Creative Commercial Photography is proud to be involved with the first Wallingford Food Festival on May 14th 2011 at Bridge Villa Campsite, and hopes that it will be the start of an exciting new venture for local food producers in the area. The Wallingford Food Festival is a celebration of the wide range of quality food produced within the south Oxfordshire area and aims:
- to promote the value of “locally” produced food from meat, vegetables, fruit, eggs, etc and processed food such as bread, cakes, jams, preserves, beers, wines, meals etc.
- to show the sustainability of locally produced food and the part seasonality plays in food availability
- to educate people on how food is produced
- to promote Wallingford as a key market town in South Oxfordshire
- to demonstrate how to use the available produce
So this is your chance to come and meet the producers and taste their produce and buy some of the best local food in Oxfordshire! The festival patron entertaining visitors will be Gerald Dickens, great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens. As the main event sponsors, the Rowse Honey Marquee will host a range of sessions on cooking, using ingredients, how to get the best from your garden and more.
I hope to see you there!
Vintage portraits - a new CCP venture
Creative Commercial Photography is teaming up with CharlestonDance to provide a unique hen-party experience - Charleston dance is fun, cheeky, and easy to learn. Become a Charleston Dance Troupe for the day, or a chorus line of 1920s showgirls. Party packages also include fascinator making lessons and cupcake decorating.
The swanky vintage portrait studio is set up on location for you to get dolled up and show off your flapper moves in a relaxed and friendly environment - an exceptional memento of a hen party experience that is absolutely the bee’s knees. Digital files for each hen are included in the group booking fee of £195, and quality 8x10” prints in presentation folders are available for £10 each.
Put on the Ritz with jazzy, upbeat, vintage fun for your hen party or celebration! Simply the cat’s miaow.

Images go live
I'm really pleased to see some more of my client images going live on their website today, visit Gemini Integrated Electronics for details. It's always a pleasure to work on a new project and see how the images are used.
This project was rather different for me as I am used to food and commercial photography, and the images had to fit with previous photographs - it was quite a challenge, and worked out well for a lovely client.
The Hiding Giants
I am very pleased that my recent abstract photograph taken directly below an electricity pylon has been used as the cover for the new EP by London band, The Hiding Giants! You can download the tunes here. Graphic design is by the very talented Neile Wright.

Fabulous Patchwork!
The website I produced product photographs for has now gone live and looks fantastic! Nicky Louth Davies designs and produces unique patchwork quilts and cushions with the help of local seamstresses. Each item is individually made from a collection of vibrant fabrics to add a spot of colour to your home.
This was a great project to work on, and I am very pleased with the results. I wish Nicky all the best for her venture, which I am sure will be a huge success!
